The best Thai massage in Gdynia — the therapist found every tense area of my back. I leave relaxed, with no neck pain after long hours at the computer. Tera Thai on Redłowska is a place I keep returning to.
The Balinese massage with hot stones at Tera Thai Gdynia is true SPA level. The atmosphere, the scents, the professionalism — you can feel the authenticity of Asian techniques. Highly recommended after training or office work.
I came in with shoulder pain after an injury. The therapist combined Shiatsu with deep-tissue work — results from the first session. The salon on Redłowska is quiet, clean and intimate. I keep coming back.

About the treatment
Pijat Bali is a traditional massage technique from the island of Bali. It blends long, flowing kneading motions with focused acupressure and gentle stretching that relax the body and soothe the senses.
The session is performed with aromatic oil, leaving the skin moisturised while aromatherapy deepens relaxation. The therapist works the entire body, focused on releasing muscle tension.
Our menu also includes the classic Pijat Bali, back and shoulder massage, deep tissue work, a variant with body scrub and the Balinese Saraba hot stone massage.

FAQ · Gdynia
About Balinese Massage — Pijat Bali
Balinese massage (Pijat Bali) is a traditional Indonesian technique combining elements of Ayurvedic techniques, Chinese acupressure and native Balinese bodywork. It is a whole-body modality: it works simultaneously with muscles, lymph and breath. Unlike European techniques, the Balinese therapist uses the entire palm, forearms and thumbs in long, flowing strokes that release tension layer by layer.
At Tera Thai we use first-press Balinese coconut oil and a signature blend of essential oils — frangipani, ylang-ylang and lemongrass. All ingredients come directly from Indonesian producers. The room scent, gamelan music in the background and warm oil create a space in which it's hard not to drift off — most guests fall asleep in the second half of the session.
The session opens with a calm welcome, then the therapist works from feet upward — through legs, back, arms, abdomen (gently, in circular motions following the bowels) and ends with a face and scalp massage. Pijat Bali alternates deep kneading (effleurage) with gentle stroking (petrissage) — this helps the nervous system move into recovery mode.
Physical effects: improved circulation, lymphatic drainage, reduced back and neck tension, deeply hydrated skin. Emotional effects: profound calm, lower cortisol, better sleep that very night. Pijat Bali is often chosen by people working with their heads — developers, lawyers, doctors — who need to „switch off thinking” for at least 90 minutes.
