The best Thai massage in Gdynia — the therapist found every tense area of my back. I leave relaxed, with no neck pain after long hours at the computer. Tera Thai on Redłowska is a place I keep returning to.

The Balinese massage with hot stones at Tera Thai Gdynia is true SPA level. The atmosphere, the scents, the professionalism — you can feel the authenticity of Asian techniques. Highly recommended after training or office work.
    Tomasz P.
I came in with shoulder pain after an injury. The therapist combined Shiatsu with deep-tissue work — results from the first session. The salon on Redłowska is quiet, clean and intimate. I keep coming back.

    About the treatment

Swedish massage is a classic European technique developed in the 19th century, which became the foundation of modern massage therapy. It combines five basic strokes: effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement and vibration.

The session covers the entire body with warm oil. It's an excellent choice for first-time massage clients or anyone looking for a proven, all-purpose form of recovery from physical effort and stress.

    About Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the best-known European massage technique, developed in the 19th century by Per Henrik Ling. It combines five basic strokes: effleurage (gliding), petrissage (kneading), friction, tapotement (tapping) and vibration. The „gold standard” in physiotherapy and the first choice for those starting with classical massage or with specific muscular issues.

At Tera Thai we perform Swedish massage with hypoallergenic almond oil or neutral plant oil (scented or unscented, your choice). The session can be relaxation (light, calming) or therapeutic (deeper, focused on specific areas). You decide what you need — the therapist adjusts strength and pace.

Main indications: back, neck and shoulder pain from desk work, muscle tension after sport, circulation issues, leg swelling, general fatigue. Swedish massage works very well in a cycle of 4-6 weekly sessions for specific issues or once a month as body maintenance.

Effects: muscle tension release, improved tissue perfusion, lymphatic drainage, increased joint range of motion, stress reduction. After a session most people feel „body lightness”, better sleep that night and less pain in previously troublesome areas.

    Who is Swedish Massage for?

    • Office workers with back, neck and shoulder pain
    • Athletes recovering after training or competition
    • People with circulation problems and leg swelling
    • Anyone starting with classical massage (the most „universal” option)
    • Those who prefer traditional European technique over Asian rituals
    • Couples and families looking for a safe, well-tolerated massage
