About Tera Thai: our team and philosophy
Tera Thai has two salons for traditional Asian massage: in Gdańsk (Zaspa, ul. Hynka 18/lok. U13) and in Gdynia (Redłowo, ul. Redłowska 37/10). We opened the Gdynia salon in 2024 and the Gdańsk one in 2026. Both are open daily, 12:00–22:00. You can book on Booksy or by phone: Gdańsk 538 899 993, Gdynia 730 823 434. The salons are run by the business TERA THAI Laura Bach, NIP 5882514458.
Massages are given by experienced therapists from Thailand, Bali and the Philippines, whom you may know from our Booksy reviews: in Gdańsk Ani, Chanapa and Roma, in Gdynia Hani, Nanda and Nia. Some have over 10 years of practice, and they learned massage at the source. Reception and phone bookings are handled in Polish and English, and during your visit you'll have no trouble communicating in English; our therapists also know basic Polish.
Our two salons in Gdynia and Gdańsk are kept in the spirit of a Thai temple — warm lighting, natural aromas, quiet and calm.
Both salons are in our photo gallery, and we write about the traditions behind our techniques in Discover Tera Thai.
We work in distinct techniques — traditional Thai massage (Nuad Boran) with acupressure along the Sen lines, Balinese Pijat Bali, Japanese Shiatsu or Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi — and we don't blend them into one generic relaxation massage. After your session, a moment to rest with warm tea awaits you; we don't rush and we don't push anything on you. We chose both salon locations for easy access — close to the SKM and tram, with parking nearby.
Our standards — every visit
- Fresh linens and towels for every guest
- A short consultation before treatment — concerns, contraindications, pressure preference
- Foot-washing ceremony before the massage
- Oil warmed before the massage
- Shower on site — before and after treatment
Our techniques at a glance
We treat every technique separately, true to its own tradition — here's a short guide to what you'll find in our menu:
- Thai massage — acupressure and stretching on our massage table, no oil
- Balinese massage (Pijat Bali) — flowing movements with warm oil
- Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi massage — wave-like forearm movements
- Japanese Shiatsu massage — targeted pressure, fully clothed, no oil
- Swedish massage — classic stroking and kneading
- Chinese massage with acupressure — work on trigger points
- Hot stone massage — deep muscle warming
- Herbal stamp massage — hot compresses with herbs
You'll find a full description of every technique, prices and durations in our massage menu — and if you still don't know what to choose, our massage matching quiz can help.
