Cookie Policy
In force since 2026-10-16. The tables below come from measuring real traffic on terathai.pl — before any consent decision, after a refusal and after consent. Nothing here is listed “just in case”.
This is a translation. The Polish version — Polityka cookies — is the binding text; in case of any discrepancy, the Polish wording prevails.
Legal basis
Storing information on your device and accessing information already stored there is governed by Art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (in force since 10 November 2024, replacing Art. 173 of the former Telecommunications Law). Only cookies strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for are exempt from consent. Everything else starts only after you consent — also within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
1. Strictly necessary — no consent needed
The site sets no cookies of its own in this category. We do store your settings in your browser's local storage — these are not cookies and are never sent to any server. The only exception is your banner choice itself, which we count anonymously (section 7).

2. Statistics — after consent
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Lifetime | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | distinguishes users in statistics | statistics | 400 days | required | |
_ga_1YJVVP2HFG | Google Analytics 4 session state | statistics | 400 days | required | |
_clck | Microsoft | identifier for Clarity | statistics | 365 days | required |
_clsk | Microsoft | joins page views into one session | statistics | 1 day | required |
_cltk | Microsoft | session recording identifier | session storage | until the tab closes | required |
Microsoft Clarity records the course of a visit (scrolling, clicks) and builds heatmaps. Anything typed into forms is masked and does not appear in recordings. It has been running since 18 August 2026.
3. Marketing — after consent
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Lifetime | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | measures Google Ads performance | marketing | 90 days | required | |
IDE | Google (doubleclick.net) | ad targeting and measurement | marketing | approx. 390 days | required |
_fbp | Meta | Meta pixel — measurement and remarketing | marketing | 90 days | required |
MUID | Microsoft (clarity.ms, bing.com) | Microsoft user identifier | marketing | approx. 390 days | required |
SRM_B | Microsoft (c.bing.com) | Microsoft Advertising identifier | marketing | approx. 390 days | required |
MR, SM, ANONCHK | Microsoft | identifier sync and measurement | marketing | session to 7 days | required |
An important note about Microsoft. Once you consent, Clarity synchronises an identifier with Bing and sets cookies on the bing.com domain. That means part of Microsoft's advertising system starts along with Clarity, even though we run no campaigns there. If you would rather it did not, choose “Only essential” in the banner.
4. Embedded content
The Google map on pages with directions and the Booksy booking widget load from those companies' servers and receive your IP address. The map loads when the page opens, before any consent decision, because it is part of the content you came for. Booksy loads only after you click a booking button, when the salon choice opens. Booksy's server then receives your IP address.
5. What happens if you refuse
We measured this, so we can say it plainly: after choosing “Only essential”, not a single statistics or marketing cookie is set. Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta pixel and Microsoft Clarity do not load at all, so they receive no information about your visit. The same applies until you make a choice in the banner.
6. Changing your mind
At the bottom of every page there is a “Cookie settings” button — it reopens the banner and lets you change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; we will then ask again on your next visit.
7. Counting cookie decisions (no cookies involved)
When you click “Accept” or “Only essential”, your browser sends one short message to terathai.pl/zgoda, handled by Cloudflare, the service that delivers our site. It contains only your choice, the page language, whether the banner opened by itself or from the footer button, and whether the page address carried a Google ad marker. The server adds whether you are on a phone or a computer, and whether the click came from an automated program (for example a test browser), based on a header your browser sends with every request anyway.
We store daily totals only, for example “12 accepted and 5 essential-only on phones that day”. The counter does not store your IP address, any identifier or the address of the page you were viewing, and nothing is saved on your device. None of this goes to Google, Meta or Microsoft. We keep the totals for 13 months. The counter has one purpose: to check whether the banner is clear, that is, what share of visitors picks each option.
