Terms and Conditions
In force since 2026-10-01. Covers using terathai.pl, buying vouchers online, requesting bookings and visiting our salons.
This is a translation. The Polish version — Regulamin — is the binding text; in case of any discrepancy, the Polish wording prevails. Polish law applies.
§ 1. Who provides the services
The provider and seller is Laura Bach, trading as TERA THAI Laura Bach, entered in the Polish CEIDG register, NIP 5882514458, REGON 528818507. Salons: ul. Hynka 18/lok. U13, 80-465 Gdańsk and ul. Redłowska 37/10, 81-450 Gdynia. Contact: terathai.gdansk@gmail.com, +48 538 899 993 (Gdańsk); terathai.gdynia@gmail.com, +48 730 823 434 (Gdynia).
§ 2. What these terms cover
Using the site and its forms, buying gift vouchers online, requesting bookings, visiting our salons and making complaints. We do not run a shop with physical goods — the only thing sold online is a voucher for massage services. The voucher rules also apply to vouchers bought at the salon.
§ 3. Services provided electronically
Free of charge we provide: browsing content, search, the contact form, the booking request form, the voucher order form and newsletter sign-up. All you need is a device with a browser and internet access; some features require JavaScript.
Supplying unlawful content is prohibited, in particular content infringing the rights of others.
§ 4. Booking and visiting the salon
Sending the booking form is a request for a slot, not a confirmed booking. The contract for a massage is concluded only when we confirm the time by phone, e-mail or message. You can also book through the external Booksy service — its own rules apply there.
A minor may have a massage only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Booking, cancellation and rescheduling rules. The cancellation policy is also shown on our Booksy profiles.
- You may cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start of the visit.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the visit, or do not turn up, the salon reserves the right to apply a contractual charge of 100% of the booked service value, collected automatically through the Booksy payment system (Booksy Pay).
- We respect everyone's time, so please be punctual. If you are up to 15 minutes late, the massage is shortened by the time of the delay and the price stays the same. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the visit is automatically cancelled by the salon through the client's fault, and a charge of 100% of the service price applies.
- These rules apply to every service in our price list. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
- Any add-ons and extra services chosen beyond the base massage are not covered by current massage discounts or promotions and are charged in full at the salon's current prices. A promotion is a discount code we publish, for example on social media, that lowers the price of a voucher bought on the website. Each promotion has its own rules (duration and conditions), published together with it. Promotions cannot be combined with each other unless their rules say otherwise.
- For bookings covering more than one service or more than one person, the cancellation and rescheduling rules apply to each booked service and each person separately.
- A partial cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start is treated as a late cancellation and may result in a charge of 100% of the cancelled service's value.
- Rescheduling a visit less than 24 hours before its start is treated as a late cancellation and may result in a charge of 100% of the originally booked service's value.
- If the salon cancels a visit for reasons on the salon's side, the client pays no cancellation fee.
- If cancelling or rescheduling through Booksy is not possible, the client must contact the salon directly. The mere inability to cancel or reschedule in Booksy does not cancel the booking or release the client from a charge arising under these rules.
- A booking for a group of 3 or more people requires a deposit of 30% of the booking value. We tell you how to pay it when we confirm the time. We refund the deposit in full if you cancel at least 24 hours before the visit or if the salon cancels the visit. If you cancel later or do not turn up, the deposit counts towards the charge under point 2.
- If within 12 months you miss a visit or cancel later than 24 hours before its start three times, we may accept further bookings only with prepayment or only by phone.
Visiting the salon.
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your visit, and closer to 10 minutes early for your first visit: we will ask you to fill in a short health questionnaire.
- Before the massage, tell the therapist about any illnesses, injuries, operations and treatments in recent months, medication, allergies and pregnancy. The therapist will adjust the massage accordingly and may refuse it if it could harm you. Withholding such information may limit our liability for the consequences of the massage.
- Our massages are for relaxation and do not replace medical treatment or a doctor's advice.
- We offer only the massages in our price list. The therapist may refuse or stop a massage if the client behaves aggressively or in a way that violates her dignity, makes inappropriate proposals, or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In that case the full fee for the service may be charged.
- People accompanying you may wait in the salon with the staff's consent.
- We keep items left in the salon and return them when you contact us. Please do not leave valuables unattended. The salon is not liable for items left unattended or forgotten after a visit, unless the damage was caused by our fault.
- At the Gdańsk salon reception we switch on a live camera view when needed, without recording; the camera does not cover the massage rooms. Details are in the privacy policy.
§ 5. Vouchers — purchase and payment
You can order a voucher through the form or buy it online straight away. Online payment is handled by Stripe (card, BLIK, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods offered in the Stripe payment form) on its page, not ours. Prices are in Polish złoty and include tax. A voucher is always paid for in advance, also when bought at the salon.
The contract is concluded when the payment is credited. We send the electronic voucher by e-mail within 24 hours of the payment being confirmed, once you give us the details needed to issue it (name, salon, optional dedication) — this is done by hand, not automatically. Invoices are issued on request within 48 hours of the request or of the payment being credited.
Form of the voucher. We send it by e-mail or, if you prefer, prepare a physical one in a presentation folder for collection at the salon in Gdańsk or Gdynia.
Validity and use. A voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. We write the expiry date on the voucher. We issue a voucher for an amount or for a specific massage written on the voucher. If the voucher value is higher than the price of the massage, you can also use the rest on massage add-ons. An amount voucher can pay for any massage or package we offer, and at the salon we will help you choose a treatment that matches its value. You may use it partially — if the treatment costs less than the voucher value, the remainder stays available within the validity period. If the treatment costs more, you pay the difference at the salon in cash, by card or with BLIK. The voucher cannot be combined with any promotion.
Transfer and extension. You may pass the voucher to someone else. If you cannot use it in time, write to us before it expires — we can usually transfer it to another person or agree an extension.
Booking with a voucher. Give the voucher number when you book. The rules of § 4 apply to visits paid with a voucher: if you cancel later than 24 hours before the visit or do not turn up, we deduct the price of the booked service from an amount voucher, and a voucher for a specific massage counts as used. In exceptional cases, for example sudden illness, we may move the visit once without a deduction.
Lost voucher. We will resend an electronic voucher to the e-mail address given at purchase. If you lose a paper voucher, contact us: we can issue a duplicate based on the voucher number and our register.
§ 6. Right of withdrawal
Buying a voucher online means concluding a distance contract. As a consumer (and as a sole trader with consumer rights) you may withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason — Art. 27 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014. A statement by e-mail is enough. We refund without delay and no later than within 14 days, by the same means you paid.
A voucher already used — in whole or in part — is not refundable to that extent, because the service has been performed. The right of withdrawal does not apply where the service has been fully performed with your express consent before the deadline and we informed you beforehand that you would lose that right (Art. 38(1)(1) of that Act). This applies where the voucher is redeemed, i.e. the massage takes place, within those 14 days.
The right of withdrawal applies to online purchases. A voucher bought in person at the salon is not a distance contract, so this right does not cover it. Nor does it apply to a company buying vouchers in the course of its business, for example for employees or business partners; this does not affect a sole trader with consumer rights mentioned above.
Separately: where you book a specific day and time, the exclusion for leisure services supplied on a designated date may apply (Art. 38(1)(12)). We will tell you clearly before confirming the time whether that exclusion applies.
§ 7. Model withdrawal form
You do not have to use it — any unambiguous statement will do. We provide it because Art. 12(1)(9) of the Consumer Rights Act requires it.

§ 8. Complaints
Send a complaint by e-mail or bring it to the salon. Describe what it concerns and what you expect. We reply within 14 days. Polish Civil Code rules on improper performance apply to our services, and Chapter 5b of the Consumer Rights Act applies to digital content and services.
Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, in particular through the regional Trade Inspection inspector or the district (municipal) consumer ombudsman. We give no link to the European ODR platform — it was shut down on 20 July 2025 and Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228.
§ 9. Loyalty card
Loyalty card. Our programme for regular guests: a stamp for each visit and 50% off the fifth massage. A visit paid with a voucher also earns a stamp. Ask for a card at reception in Gdańsk or Gdynia. A loyalty card is not a voucher: you do not buy it and it cannot be exchanged for money.
§ 10. Newsletter
Signing up is voluntary and requires an e-mail address, a ticked consent box and confirmation via the link in our first e-mail. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any newsletter or by writing to us — withdrawal is as easy as giving it.
§ 11. Personal data
How we process data is described in our privacy policy, and the cookies we use in our cookie policy.
§ 12. Changes
We may change these terms for good reason, for example when the law or the scope of our services changes. Contracts already concluded remain governed by the version in force on the day they were made. Version of 2026-10-01.
