Thai hot herbal stamp massage
Herbal stamps are a traditional Thai treatment combining massage, heat and traditional Thai herbs: cotton compresses filled with a herbal blend are steam-heated and pressed against the body in rhythm with the massage. The ritual takes 120 minutes and costs 429 PLN. Available in Gdańsk and Gdynia.
What this massage involves
A stamp is a tightly wrapped cotton compress filled with a traditional blend of aromatic Thai herbs and spices. Steam-heated, it releases warmth and essential oils straight into the tissue — the therapist presses, rolls and combines its work with classic Thai massage techniques.
Three things happen at once: heat relaxes the muscles and dilates the blood vessels, the herbs work on the skin and senses (the scent of herbs), and the rhythmic press of the stamps works like a gentle, diffuse acupressure. Afterward, skin is noticeably nourished and soft.
In Thailand herbal stamps have accompanied massage for centuries. Here we perform it as a full, 2-hour ritual — slower and more “enveloping” than a classic session. You'll find a similar heat-based approach in our hot stone massage.
The treatment step by step
- Steam-heating the cotton stamps until they're saturated with warmth and the herbs' essential oils.
- A first gentle touch with the stamp — checking a comfortable temperature.
- Pressing and rolling the stamp along the Thai massage lines, combined with hand work.
- Swapping a cooling stamp for a fresh one, keeping a steady heat throughout the session.
- A calm close to the treatment — stamps held longer at the points that needed it most.
Who this massage suits

- Dry, tired skin — a nourishing effect
- Lovers of herbal scents and sensory experiences
- Chronic fatigue and the need for a deep reset
- Autumn and winter season

What a visit looks like
1. Consultation. A conversation about how you're feeling, any herb allergies and contraindications.
2. Preparation. You can take a shower on site and use fresh towels; the herbal stamps are heated just before the treatment. Every massage also begins with a brief foot-washing ceremony.
3. Massage. Hot stamps with herbs and oil are guided along tense areas of the body, alternating with hand pressure. You can always adjust the temperature.
4. Afterwards. The scent of herbs and the warmth linger long after the session — it's worth sitting quietly for a moment and drinking some water.

Contraindications and preparation
We do not perform herbal stamp massage in cases of allergy to the herbs used in the compress, fever and infections, fresh injuries, thrombosis, varicose veins, and the first trimester of pregnancy. If in doubt, or with skin allergies, please contact us beforehand. Full list in our contraindications guide.
Tell the therapist about any known herb allergies or sensitive skin — they'll adjust the temperature and intensity of the stamps accordingly. A shower and fresh towels are available on site. After the treatment, avoid intense activity right away and let your skin have a moment to absorb the oil.
