Mother-to-Be Massage — a calm massage during pregnancy
The Mother-to-Be Massage is a quiet moment for yourself, created with pregnant women in mind. Your therapist massages your back, hips, neck and legs in positions that are comfortable for you, using gentle, natural oils. We welcome you from the second trimester, with the consent of the doctor or midwife overseeing your pregnancy. It's available at both salons: Gdańsk (Zaspa) and Gdynia (Redłowo).
What the visit looks like
1. Consultation. Every visit starts with a short conversation about your pregnancy, how you feel and your doctor's or midwife's consent. For your first visit, come about 10 minutes early: we'll ask you to fill in a short health questionnaire.
2. Foot-washing ceremony. As before every massage at Tera Thai, your therapist washes your feet with warm water. You can read where the ritual comes from in our article on the foot-washing ceremony.
3. The massage. Your therapist works calmly on your back, hips, neck and legs with gentle, natural oils. We arrange your position so that you're comfortable, and you can ask for a different pace or pressure at any time.
4. Afterwards. A moment of rest and a glass of water before you go back to your day.

From the second trimester, with your doctor's consent
We offer the Mother-to-Be Massage only from the second trimester, with the consent of the doctor or midwife overseeing your pregnancy. In the first trimester, the first 12 weeks, we don't perform massage in any form.
The consultation at the salon helps us plan the massage, but it doesn't replace your doctor's advice. The full list of contraindications is in our guide to massage contraindications.
What we don't do during pregnancy
During pregnancy we don't perform classic Thai massage, which relies on firm pressure, stretching and acupressure. We also don't offer expectant mothers the packages that include deep tissue or anti-cellulite massage. You can read more in our article Thai Massage and Pregnancy.
Mother-to-Be Massage as a voucher
A Tera Thai voucher can be used for any treatment, this massage included. A 250 PLN voucher covers 60 minutes, 300 PLN covers 90 minutes and 400 PLN covers 120 minutes. It's valid for 6 months from purchase and can be redeemed in Gdańsk or Gdynia.
