Gua Sha face massage — what the treatment involves and what to expect
A smooth stone, serum and slow strokes along the lines of the facial muscles. Gua Sha is the calmest hour on our menu — and the only one devoted entirely to the face, neck and décolleté.
Gua Sha comes from traditional Chinese medicine. Your therapist glides a smooth stone — usually rose quartz or jade — over the face, along the lines of the muscles and the acupressure points. First she applies a serum so the stone moves smoothly over the skin.
What the treatment looks like

- Work with the stone along the muscles of the face and neck.
- Extra attention for the places where tension gathers: the forehead, the jaw and around the eyes.
- A calm finish.

Duration and price
The treatment lasts 60 minutes and costs 229 PLN. It covers the face, neck and décolleté, and we offer it at both salons, in Gdańsk and Gdynia.
Gua Sha is easy to combine with a body massage in one visit — ask about times when you book. A ready-made combination is the Chinese Ritual Package: 120 minutes of Chinese massage, Gua Sha face massage, reflexology and stretching for 419 PLN. We do not perform Gua Sha with active rosacea, open wounds on the face, active cold sores, inflammation of the facial skin, or within two weeks of cosmetic procedures such as Botox or fillers. If in doubt, talk to your doctor first.
