Gua Sha face massage

Gua Sha comes from traditional Chinese medicine, where a smooth stone (most often rose quartz or jade) is precisely guided over the face along muscle lines and acupressure points. Right after the treatment the skin is often warm.

The treatment is preceded by applying a serum that helps the stone glide. For many people it becomes a regular part of their skincare routine and a moment of relaxation just for the face.

The treatment step by step

1. A short chat about your skin condition and expectations for the treatment.
2. Applying a serum to help the stone glide.
3. Precise Gua Sha stone work along the muscle lines of the face and neck.
4. Extra attention to tension points — forehead, jaw, eye area.
5. Finishing the treatment — the skin is usually warm.

1. Consultation. A short conversation about how you're feeling and any contraindications.

2. Preparation. A shower is available on site; fresh towels and linens are all standard. Every massage also begins with a brief foot-washing ceremony.

3. Massage. The session is paced and pressured to match your needs. You can ask for changes at any time.

4. Afterwards. Take a moment to rest and drink a glass of water — no need to rush back into your day.

We do not perform Gua Sha massage in cases of active rosacea, open facial wounds, active-phase cold sores, recent cosmetic procedures (e.g. botox, fillers within 2 weeks), or facial skin inflammation. Set aside a moment before your session to shower — fresh towels are waiting on site. Tell the therapist about any allergies or sensitivities so they can adjust the treatment safely.
