Foot reflexology — what the treatment involves and what to expect

An hour of work on the feet and calves alone, and you feel the calm in your whole body. That is how guests most often describe Chinese foot reflexology massage.

Reflexology comes from Chinese tradition: pressure work on selected points of the feet. Your therapist presses them in a set order, using warm oil. Whatever you make of that tradition, it is one of the most relaxing treatments on our menu, even though it covers only the feet and part of the calves.

What the treatment looks like

  1. A short chat about how you feel and what needs attention today.
  2. A warm foot bath — a calm way into the treatment.
  3. Work on the reflexology points of the feet, with warm oil.
  4. A calf massage.
  5. A quiet finish and a moment of rest with a glass of water.

Some points can be more sensitive than others, especially if your feet are very tense. We adjust the pressure to you, and you can ask for gentler work at any moment.

Who it suits

  • people who stand or walk a lot during the day,
  • that heavy, tired feeling in the legs,
  • when you want to relax deeply in a short time,
  • anyone curious about traditional Chinese medicine,
  • as a gift — a short, relaxing ritual for someone close, for example as a voucher.

Duration and price

The treatment lasts 60 minutes and costs 199 PLN — the only option, as the work focuses on the feet and calves. We offer it at both salons, in Gdańsk and Gdynia.

If you would like to combine the feet with work on the whole body, have a look at the Chinese Ritual Package: 120 minutes of Chinese massage, Gua Sha face massage, reflexology and stretching for 419 PLN. Acupressure across the whole body is also part of Chinese massage with acupressure.

When to hold off

We do not perform foot reflexology with athlete's foot or other skin infections of the feet, fresh injuries, thrombosis, fever or open wounds on the feet and calves. If in doubt, talk to your doctor first — the full list is in our contraindications guide.
