The optimal window is 5–7 days before the wedding: close enough that the relaxation lasts through the big day, and far enough that your body has time to return to full lightness after deeper work.
Choose massages with oils — Balinese, Lomi Lomi or aromatic Thai. Warm oil is a treat for your skin too. In the final week, avoid strong deep-tissue work.
